With the final design planned out, I began constructing the model. My final choice of material was mahogany, this is because it is a hard wood which picks up good vibrations and also has a classic old fashioned look to it which will contrast with the technology hidden beneath it.

After the frame and panels were made, i began sanding them so they were smooth to touch and also rounded the edges of the frame for aesthetic appeal.

After the model was shaped and smooth all over, I finished it by using a weather resistant oil so that it brought out the natural colour of the mahogany and also protected it from the rain, as it will be used outside front doors.

With the frame polished up, i attatched the housing bracket to the back to conceal the electronics.
